A TextFlow alternative for Canadian teams whose leads text back

Who each fits, what each costs, and how to switch.

  • Replies count toward your messages
  • Unused messages reset every month
  • Each follow-up is a separate campaign

On Textually

  • Replies free
  • Texts last 12 months
  • Sequences stop on a reply

The short answer

TextFlow by TELAIR suits Canadian businesses sending CASL-compliant campaigns and reminders from their own business number, with picture messages, signup forms and data it says stays in Canada. Textually suits teams that follow up leads one to one in Canada and the US: sequences that stop on a reply, free replies and unlimited seats.

Why Canadian teams look at a TextFlow alternative

TextFlow launched in November 2025. What a follow-up team runs into is on its own pages: replies count toward the monthly messages, unused messages reset each billing cycle, and a drip is built as separate campaigns scheduled days apart.

On October 18, 2026 we found no user reviews of TextFlow on Trustpilot, G2, Capterra, the app stores or Reddit, so this page compares what TELAIR publishes: its pricing, terms and docs.

From TextFlow’s own pages

Replies use your plan

“Inbound messages always deliver regardless of daily limits, though they still count toward your monthly message usage.”

Unused messages are lost

“No, unused messages do not rollover. Your monthly message allocation resets at the start of each billing cycle.”

A drip is separate campaigns

“Campaign 2: “Features” - Schedule 3 days later [...] Campaign 3: “Feedback” - Schedule 7 days later”

TextFlow and Textually, point by point

In the order TextFlow’s own pages raise them. Each point says who comes out ahead.

  1. CASL and opt-outs

    Even
    TextFlow

STOP, ARRET and other opt-out words handled; an opt-out line on campaigns; quiet hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

    Textually

A consent record checked before every text; STOP and ARRET handled; the opt-out line added until the lead replies; sending hours in the lead’s local time.

    Both follow the Canadian rules.

  2. Canadian data

TELAIR says your data stays in Canada.

    Textually

    No data residency promise.

If your data must stay in Canada, TextFlow says it does.

  3. Follow-up

    Textually ahead
    TextFlow

Their docs build a drip as separate campaigns scheduled 3 and 7 days apart. Scheduling starts on Pro.

    Textually

Text, Wait and Condition steps in one sequence. A reply ends that lead’s sequence.

Nobody gets the day 7 text after answering on day 2.

  4. What counts as a message

How to switch from TextFlow

  1. Start registration with us first

Get access and we file your registration. It takes 1 to 3 weeks, and there’s no platform fee until your first number is live.

  2. Export contacts, consent and opt-outs

Take each contact’s consent type and date and your opt-out list, so nobody who said stop gets a text.

  3. Rebuild your drip as one sequence

The separate campaigns become Text, Wait and Condition steps, and a reply ends the sequence for that lead.

  4. Cancel through their form

TELAIR’s notice runs 30 days from the day you submit its cancellation form, and email doesn’t count. Submit it once your numbers with us are live.

Questions to ask any texting provider

  • Do replies count toward my messages?
  • Do unused messages roll over?
  • How many users does my plan include?
  • Does a reply stop the follow-ups?
  • How do I cancel, and does email count?

Questions.

Who makes TextFlow SMS?

TextFlow is made by TELAIR, a Canadian phone and VoIP provider, and launched in November 2025. It is a different product from textflow.me, a developer SMS API, and from the TextFlow plugins for video editing.

How much does TextFlow cost?

Core is $67 a month for 2,500 messages and 3 users, Pro $269 for 15,000 and 10 users, and Ultra $799 for 50,000 and 50 users, in Canadian dollars with 20% off yearly billing, on telair.net/products/textflow, checked October 18, 2026.

Does TextFlow charge for incoming texts?

Their FAQ says inbound messages count toward your monthly message usage. Textually counts only the texts you send; replies are free.

Do TextFlow messages roll over?

No. Their FAQ says the monthly allocation resets at the start of each billing cycle. Texts bought on Textually last 12 months.

Does TextFlow have drip campaigns?

Their docs build a drip as separate campaigns scheduled days apart. A Textually sequence uses Text, Wait and Condition steps, and a reply ends it for that lead.

How do I cancel TextFlow?

TELAIR’s terms require its cancellation form with a digital signature. Notice runs 30 days from submission, and email doesn’t start the notice period.

What is a good TextFlow alternative?

For one-to-one lead follow-up with a team in Canada and the US, Textually. For promotions from your own number with data kept in Canada, TextFlow remains the closer fit.
