# Textually pricing

> One package in three parts: a $49 monthly platform fee, locked for your first 12 months (founding price for the first 1,000 teams; standard price $99 a month), with unlimited seats; phone numbers at $10 a month local and $12 toll-free, and texts bought up front in buckets from 5 cents down to 2.5 cents a text. A text is one segment to a US or Canadian number. Texts can be used for 12 months from the day you buy them, oldest first. Replies are free.

- **Numbers: $10 a month each.** Choose local numbers for the US and toll-free numbers, $12 a month, for Canada.
- **Texts: 2.5¢ to 5¢ each.** You buy them up front in buckets, and the bigger the bucket, the less each text costs.

## Questions

### What is the founding price?

The first 1,000 teams pay $49 a month for the platform fee, locked for their first 12 months from the day their first number goes live, even if our prices change. The standard price is $99 a month.

### What happens after 12 months?

Your platform fee moves to the standard price in force at that time, $99 a month today. We email you at least 30 days before it changes. Your numbers and texts are not affected.

### What counts as a text?

One text is one segment to a US or Canadian number: up to 160 characters, or 70 if it has an emoji. A longer message is split and uses one text per segment, and the composer shows the count as you write. Replies you receive are free.

### How long can I use texts I buy?

For 12 months from the day you buy them. Any left after that expire. We always use your oldest texts first, and Billing shows how many you have and the date each batch must be used by.

### What happens if I run out?

Campaign texts wait until you buy more, and nothing is sent in the meantime. Billing and the bell tell you when you are running low.

### Can I buy texts automatically?

Yes. Pick a number of texts and a bucket, and when you drop below that number we buy the bucket on your saved card. It buys at most five times a day and turns off if your card is declined.

### Does the opt-out line count?

Yes, until the person replies. The composer includes it in the count.

### How are numbers billed?

Each number is $10 a month, or $12 for a toll-free number. You choose how many you need, and each one is billed from the day it goes live, along with the platform fee.

### Do phone type checks use texts?

Each number we look up uses 1 text, and checking that a mobile line is still active uses 1 more. Numbers our free rules can place use nothing.

### Can I call leads?

Yes. Press Call in a conversation and your browser calls the lead from the same number that texts them. When a lead calls one of your numbers, it rings everyone on your team who has Textually open, and if nobody answers they can leave a voicemail that shows in the conversation. Calls use one text a minute, rounded up. Conversations are never recorded.

### What does carrier registration cost?

A one-time fee set by the carriers, charged at cost before we submit. Canadian toll-free verification is free.

### What if I need 100,000 or more texts?

Buy 100,000 or more in steps of 100,000, up to 500,000 at once, at $2,500 per 100,000 (2.5¢ a text). For more than 500,000 at once, write to us for a quote at hello@usetextually.com.
